Whoever You Are, Welcome

Whether you’ve been with me for a while or are just entering my world, welcome!
My name is Flavia. I’m a teacher of interconnection, rest, liminal spaces and everything in-between.

This is my Story

When I was 25, I took the biggest leap of faith. I left university, gave up my home, and said goodbye to my family and everything familiar.

With my partner at the time, I traveled through South America in a small van, unsure of what I would find, but certain that something had to change. Little did I know that this journey would completely transform my life, how I looked at the world and how I connected to the Universe.

I had been practicing yoga and meditation since I was around 18, and had just graduated with a degree in English Literature and Art History. I was also beginning to teach Pilates. The world around me nudged me toward a Master’s Degree. But I chose something else: the unknown.

The spirit of the land in South America opened my awareness and soul, and for the second time in my life I felt like I was a part of something larger.

I had felt something similar once before, while living in Scotland for a year. The mysticism, the moss, the wetland – they were so different from the vast open spaces and deserts of Patagonia, the majestic Andes and the lush rainforests. And still, there was something, a feeling of being seen and witnessed by the land, that I had already felt before in my native mountains in Scotland, and now on this new and adventurous continent.

After two years of traveling, both tragedy and wonder as my companions, I returned to Switzerland. I resumed my studies and eventually completed my Master’s in Literary Theory. I began teaching yoga and, slowly, everything started to integrate.

Now, nearly a decade later, after teaching various modalities almost full-time, I know that what was awakened in my time Scotland and South America is what the Andean Q’ero shamans call “AYNI” – the underlying principle of interconnectedness, reciprocity and synchronicity.

My highest value now is trying to live in AYNI in all aspects of my life. AYNI is not something I teach from a textbook. It’s something I live into, again and again.

What AYNI Means to Me

Living from AYNI means:

  • Respecting and honouring all of creation
  • Deep trust in life – knowing that everything comes and goes in divine timing
  • Taking full self-responsibility of my life
  • Living from my soul and not my cultural purpose
  • Living in devotion & humility
  • Being of Service to all creation
  • Compassion & Wisdom combined

This is my compass.
This is the breath behind all I offer.
Thank you for being here.

My Values

Rest – Honoring rest as medicine, trusting that true transformation begins in the depth of relaxation.

Bhakti – Living and serving with full devotion to life.

Embodiment – Integrating all experiences into every aspect of being – including the challenging ones.

Self-Knowledge – Coming to know myself deeply, understanding my energy system, and learning what I need to feel regulated and balanced.

Connection – A deep knowing that we are all interconnected, that the outer mirrors the inner, the above reflects the below. Recognizing that everything is alive and sacred.

Self-Responsibility – Taking responsibility for the creation of my own dream.

Soul Path – Understanding why my soul chose this life and stepping courageously into that power.

Safety – Experiencing safety on the path of supporting others energetically through real, embodied, and sustainable wisdom.
